The next time you notice you’re windshield wiper
fluid reservoir is empty don’t try to get away with adding water or another substitute
liquid to your car’s windshield washer reservoir. Not only will it not clean as
well as washer fluid, it may even freeze over in cold weather causing damage to
the entire system and leaving you with an expensive and time-consuming hassle
to take care of. Also, be sure you don’t try to run your windshield washer
system once you realize there’s no more fluid in the tank as this is another
way you can cause damage to the washer fluid pump. So save yourself now by
regularly topping of your car’s wiper fluid reservoir and sticking to washer
fluid!
